Take out a piece of paper and number it from 1-10. And then, I want you to ask yourself what would happen if? I just did this few years ago and was shocked with what I came up with. I started to realize that if I shifted things just a little bit, it could mean that all kinds of things would break loose, but could also mean that all kinds of cool things could come my way.
What would happen if you didn't do life and business, the way you did it yesterday, the day before, the week or the year before, what would happen?
And so for me, that has changed all kinds of things. One of the things was our big office in downtown Wilmington. And I thought, what would happen? What would happen if, after this big climb to get this big office, what would happen if I let it go? Initially, it shook me to the core. It made me examine all kinds of things about myself. As I got through all that, and peeled back all the layers, I realized that it would actually be a better thing. So I went with the process and really dug into what it would mean to let this go? And then the possibilities just kept coming to me and start started to see that that's what I had to do next.
I had to let it go. And, that's just what I did. Here I sit these almost three years later and I have to say it was one of the best things I could have done. It wasn't without its challenges, nothing worth having ever is. It took courage and prayer, support and tenacity. Yet, now, looking back, I wouldn't trade it. I have come into far greater alignment since then and gratitude floods my heart to know an opportunity for change was there and I was given the strength and support to go for it! With a milestone birthday around the corner, I'm at it again asking the same question, as I embark on a new decade with brimming with new possibilities.

So what would happen if....
.... you finally hired someone, would that change your life? What would happen if you finally went with the thing that was deep down in your heart that hasn't seen the light of day yet? What would happen if you took out your phone, and you finally started shooting video, would that change things for you?
Look inside yourself and I want you to think what would happen if the possibilities are endless, opportunity is knocking at your door.
What do you want to say when you open the door? Yes. No. Where are we going to go from here? Business life should be an incredible adventure that we absolutely love. Entrepreneurship often feels like we're dancing on a wire without a net. It should be incredibly joyful dance.
