Home again, home again, jiggity-jig!
Today marks one week since I moved into my spacious, light-infused, beautiful apartment overlooking Rodney Square. Even though I lived in smaller unit in the building for the past year, walking into this new space has been like a long, awaited homecoming.
Last year at this time, we were perched on the 10th floor of a monstrous, office suite and I was at a critical crossroads. I knew that only a year and a half into securing that space it no longer served us.
Everything I had worked to achieve was starting to unravel and I knew some pivotal, integral changes were forth coming. I braced myself and held on in hopes of turning a corner and righting things, so we could keep going forward.
Yet, I knew, deep down at the core of me, that the opportunity and desire to change and reinvent was greater than the desire to stay the same.
And so, began my pirouette, a gradual turning toward greater congruence to create a business and life that lights me up!
So here I am, home to myself in my new apartment, which by the way, is now the home office of the SAGE Success Studio.
And so, I come home to myself again, coming full circle and bringing my business back home so that I can live and work in in the best alignment with my gifts, strengths, and calling.
I’m so thankful to Lori Davis and her team at Stat International for expanding and contracting with us through the years of our business growth. Now, as a virtual client, I can keep my business address and reception, while working from the creative, inspirational space I now call home.
Marjorie, Pat and I will put our heads together a few days a week so we can serve the SAGE community with all of our hearts—other mission-driven, women entrepreneurs and leaders like us, intent on living and working in greater congruence and authenticity, as they make a lasting impact in their corner of the world.
And Zach—he’s happily working at The Mill, surrounded by millennials and others working in the digital space, while he represents and serves us and our clients.
It’s an exciting time for this lean, dedicated and determined team. We have taken some pretty courageous, bold steps in a new direction and we're so jazzed about what lies ahead for us and those we serve.
Home again, home again, jiggity-jig! Home to myself, bringing my business back home. What a beautiful way to wind down a year! We stand poised and ready to fully embrace 2018 and make it one of our very best years yet.
We are so grateful to you, our incredibly supportive tribe, for encouraging us and cheering us on every step of the way.
May you finish this strong and start the NEW YEAR even stronger!
To your OUTRAGEOUS success,
Donna
